I cannot wear traditional store bought fragrances, not even the very expensive ones. for years I have worn one fragrance oil. I decided to give this fragrance a try and I cannot say enough about it! Hands down one of thr best fragrances I have ever worn! lasts all day and changes throughput the day! love, love, love!!

That sweet tropical note is definite which I love.. gets it’s deepness though from the smoky woody leather which balances it out…. I imagine if I was staying in a historic hotel in Havana or maybe got to spend an evening at the Hemmingway house in Key West…. there is a glowy Amber nostalgia to it as well.
Very dynamic.. I will not be tiring of this one however it is potent (this is not a light and breezy tropical/tanning oil beach scent) and I typically don’t usually wear heavy scents, but I will make an exception for this one!
This is for a night of dancing and romance after laying on said beach

If I would have read these notes before smelling it, I would have written the whole thing off beforehand.

I would have assumed it would be too green and then tart because of the raspberries and then where does the cream even fit into this?

But listen here! This wow-ed me, in that it was absolutely far from my realm of thinking. Earthy, creamy and a touch of sweetness. Smooth, warm, clean.

I love the packaging, smell, and the look of the bottles. This House is amazing

I fell in mad love with Velvet Tango the second I sprayed my sample. I purchased a full bottle immediately after. The violet is so beautiful, slightly sweet, slightly powdery with a beautiful soft boozy and woody dry down. It’s sensual and smooth and has great longevity.

I could see Neve Campbell's character in The Craft, Bonnie Harper, wearing this. Or BTSO releasing something similar. Per the brand, "This is the taste of a clove cigarette in the back of the club. This is sexy goth girl laundry. Unique, dark, clean and also dirty.". This is a very accurate image. Immediately, with the first spray you get smoky plum, not clean smoke, cigarettes old and new and plum that is both fresh and almost over-ripe, a tinge of sour. Patchouli that is a little musty and a litte sweet, the dried sweat and cosmetics after a night of dancing. And somehow it works. The plum lingers under the spicy clove and changing smoke, not quite fruity, the gorgeous goth girl with a wicked grin. I'm quite enamored with the fragrance. Not blind-buy or office safe, unless you don't work in corporate/adjacent. Solid longevity and projection, not kicking you in the teeth or choking a room, but certainly noticeable.

The creativity that went into this fragrance is mind blowing. That honey note…sheesh!!!! A true master piece

Admittedly I was a little nervous when I got a free sample of this with my most recent order, because my track record with fragrances including tobacco, leather, and anything remotely alcoholic hasn't been great. But I figure there's no harm in trying a scent at least once. I'm incredibly pleasantly surprised! I was worried the aged whiskey oakwood, tobacco, and leather would end up making this far too boozy and/or animallic for me (I'm more of a Celeste, Mirasol, and Cloudbreath kinda lady). Bossa Nova is warm, deep, and indulgent, yes, but not as hedonistic as a happy hour bar complete with a cigar lounge. There's a coziness to this, and it's a pretty smooth blend. I'm still going to take my time testing out my sample, but I am glad this one didn't scare me off as I had worried it would. I am now curious about trying Haute Damn, too, which I also thought would be too much for me. MdA has truly been a fun and unique scent sampling experience!

Word cannot express how much I love this scent. I wanted a gender neutral scent and I love the notes- bourbon, vanilla, and tropical fruit. It makes me feel sexy and powerful and I love wearing it at work.

This is a beautiful sparkling floral fragrance that performs beautifully in summer heat. Its very luminous and warm smelling. It definitely has a bit of an ethereal feel to it, especially when you catch wiffs of the sillage.

This is my FAVORITE of all! I couldn’t stop sniffing my wrists! That fig and sandalwood are so amazing!!! I just bought a travel spray the day after sampling it!! Such a beautiful scent!!!!

Yet again, Im blown away by how much I love the sweet and vanilla-based scents from this house. Kefi is bright and tart yet grounded by the creamy vanilla and sandalwood. Its like sniffing a warm bowl of homemade black currant compote with a splash of heavy cream. Not too tart, not too sweet; perfectly balanced and packed with comfort.

This scent is so addictive. Im a complete and total sucker for fig fragrances, and the additiona of chai and sandalwood sealed the deal for me. I blind bought a travel size of this along with the discovery set, and I have no regrets. Its beautifully blended. The spices make it warm and cozy without being suffocatingly sweet. Theres something a little edgy in it too, perfectly matching the black and white listing photo. It feels wearable year round, with the weather of each season bringing out different qualities.

I’m honestly mad that it took me until now to try this house. I usually steer clear of sweet and gourmand leaning fragrances because they trigger my migraines and tend to feel teenagery, but all the scents I sampled from MdA have been absolutely beautiful and (personally) migraine-friendly.

I blind-bought a travel size of this on a whim after getting an Instagram ad. I was a little skeptical of this random brand, but the name and the notes sounded enticing because I've really been craving a perfume that was grassy but warm and dry, almost haylike. Other perfumes with hay notes have not appealed to me. This one really hits the mark. It smells like a meadow at noon on a hot day. It's sweet, but not cloying. The grass is there but like I said, there's a dryness to it that really reminds me of hay. It's not at all an aquatic green note and it's not "fresh-cut grass" either.

Overall beautiful scent for summer and I see myself purchasing a full bottle when I run out.

Most beautiful heavenly scent will be buying a full bottle.
