This smells absolutely incredible. It’s a master piece.

This scent is smooth and sweet, and the complexity reminds me of bee pollen. My guy likes it because he says I smell like the best dessert. ^_^

Gorgeous amber fragrance that can be worn alone or layered. I get a great personal scent bubble and it last ~4-5 hrs before I need to refresh (for my personal enjoyment)!

The description of this scent was dead accurate. On the dry down, it was a soft, beautiful amber with just a tiny trace of sandalwood. I was surprised at how much I adored this, amber does not usually wear well on me and Aurate stayed away from a powdery grandma smell and kept its depth and intrigue all day with a graceful fadeout.

Ordered this as part of a sample and it did not disappoint. Top notes are spicy amber with a hint of jasmine and sweet vanilla. On the dry down, this is all amber! As an amber lover, this is an extremely good amber fragrance. It is rich, velvety and resinous with a hint of leather which just makes it feel a little more worn in. I would consider this moderately long lasting - it lasted for about 5 hours before I noticed it fading considerably and it was completely faded within 8 hours or so. On my skin, I definitely would need to carry this with me to refresh if I needed it to go day-to-night.

Ultimately, I have some other ambers in my collection at this point that are longer lasting, so I won't be purchasing a full size. If I was earlier in my perfume journey, I would absolutely buy a full bottle of this and I recommend it to anyone wanting a really good amber!

This was a wonderful find. I loved the fragrance and definitely would consider buying a full sized bottle. The vanilla isn’t overly sweet or cloying. Very balanced. Love it.

Back in 2018 I bought amber resin perfume and fell in love. In 2022 I inexplicably started getting hives whenever I wore it so have been searching everywhere for something similar. This is absolutely spot on! I’m so excited to be able to wear this incredible scent again, and will definitely be repurchasing.

Packaged well and arrived quite quickly in comparison to other sellers. Scents are great. Also received an extra sample which was quite welcome.

Amber has been my go to lately and this was everything. Warm, lightly sweet on the dry down with vanilla, sandalwood keeps this from being sugary and really rounds it out. That hint of brightness in there makes it interesting and not usual scent. Love it!

I love this perfume because it’s not so Amber forward and heavy to be enjoyed during the day. It is a nice warm blend, perfect for this fall season. I’ve had more expensive Amber perfumes in my collection, but they end up feeling too masculine or as my husband says, “like I’ve walked into a head shop”. Aurate makes me feel confident and it has nice projection.

To a T, Heretic Dirty patchouli. I love yhe length of wear even more and the complexity upon application carries and transforms beyond expectations.

If anyone is obsessed with Heretic Parfum's Dirty Vanilla but just doesn't want the pudding element in the drydown, this is it. This is fresh Dirty Vanilla through and through. I can't wait to wear this every day. It's so beautifully layered, just chef's kiss absolute perfection!

Very much reminds me of browsing the local health food store where they sold fragrance from essential oils. Almost identical to what I remember Amber Paste smelling like. It’s definitely golden, rich, resin-y amber.

Aurete is a fragrance that makes me close my eyes and savor in its beauty. I absolutely love this and it was the first sample of Maison des Animaux that had that affect on me. I just purchased a full size and cannot wait to get it. It's soft, sensual vanilla. It's like inhaling sunset on a warm breezy evening. This is stunning. I absolutely love it and hope you do too.

I bought the Discovery Set and Aurate was the first sample I tried. Loved it so much it was difficult to continue trying the others. It's the perfect blend of "golden" . I can't stop sniffing my wrists, it's that good.

You can taste the dripping honey from a resinous and incensed tree. Warm, diffuse, lasting. This scent speaks for itself and will get others speaking to you: “Excuse me, what are you wearing, it smells so good!”

Aurate is the amber fragrance of all amber fragrances. This is the one I’ve been chasing for years—the warm, resinous, velvety amber dream that finally feels like home.

It instantly takes me back to my 90s youth in Portland, back when the city was raw, grungy, and unapologetically cool. Think incense-thick air in tiny smoke shops, black velvet goths lounging in witchy new age stores, and the ever-present hum of rebellion in the air.

The amber here is rich and resinous, but smooth—never overwhelming. The labdanum is deep and sultry, while vanilla softens the edges without making it sweet. Then there’s the jasmine—unexpected, a little edgy, a little radiant—and that touch of leather? Perfection. Worn-in, cool, and exactly right.

This isn’t a polite amber. It’s bold, atmospheric, a little dark, and completely magnetic. I’m utterly smitten.

Aurate is a smooth, leather vanilla fragrance. I sense a sterilized jasmine and a whisper of sandalwood. This is an intermediate leather. I believe it would be too much for a beginner in this scent profile. It’s a touch, smoky, and the vanilla is sweet, but never cloying. The leather and vanilla play beautifully together. Golden, ambery, and not at all heavy. Simply divine.

Very comforting scent.

Not amber in a musky skin scent sort of way, but amber in a resinous kind of way, as golden as the name implies. Starts off bold and almost incense-y, then dries down to a not-quite-powdery sweetness. I think anyone of any age or gender presentation could pull this off, but for inspiration, I’m picturing a happily single witch who lives in a maximalist apartment and reads tarot for her friends. I’m picturing a well-dressed bisexual vampire who’s going to seduce you. If you want to figure out if you like resinous fragrances and you’re looking for a place to start, this would be one of my top recommendations.

I got a sampler of these perfumes, and I love every single one so it is hard to pick a favorite, but this one might definitely be it. It is subtle, complex and beautiful. This is my favorite for every day.

Beautiful 'classic' amber with soft warm labdanum leather and a very rich vanilla. I bought it for myself but my husband thinks it smells like his old favorite TF Amber Absolute so its his now and I get to smell it around the house. Definitely unisex because on me it is more vanilla and on him, more leather. Both work.

Jasmine sandwiched between leather, that's all I get from this scent on my skin. I debated between Aurate and Cloud Breath (?) to add to my discovery set and opted for the ambery Aurate. I wish I had gone for the other one. Way too leathery for me.

This is the perfect amber. It reminds me of what I always think an 'amber' perfume should smell like—definitely soulfully sexy!

I got the discovery pack and almost didn't even bother with everything else after I smelled this. It is hands down one of the most addictive fragrances I’ve ever worn. Actually unisex, too. Doesn't seem to go hard in either direction. Smells like a very high end fragrance, too.
